I've had a chance to use them over the weekend (between breaks in the cloud). I'm certainly not dissapointed by the views. These are so much better than my 10x50s. Last nights low moon at 4deg and approaching perigee was a stunning sight over the mountains, so much so that I dragged my next door neighbours out to take a look. :D

I can see the episode of 'Neighbours from Hell' now!!!

'One evening we were just sitting in front of the TV when he burst in, he dragged me and my husband by the hair into the front garden and said hey look at the Moon!'

Glad you're enjoying the binos John.

Regards and Clear Skies,

I've got neighbours from hell as well.

They are the Light-Buckets.

When the old battle-axe answers the phone she say:

"This is Hyacinth Light-Bouquet the lady of the observatory speaking... did you know that our observatory doesn't have just any old optics.
Our optics are very expensive you know. They are Dall-Kirkham no less."

As for my family........ d'all want to kick 'em.

LOL now I know why some people don't use their real names on BBS boards. Just so you can say something like that and no-one knows who you are!!

Bet her observatory doesn't have a pool, room for a pony, and hand painted perriwinkles!
