Right, I've seen that when focus is adjusted to an extreme. There is a Plossl 40 available on eBay, so I was wondering is this was a better way to go. I'm also looking for a 2nd hand telrad too, it does seem a good way of spotting, especially for a spectacle wearer like me!

I have to say I was skeptical about the telrad and got it on astromart just to see what all the fuss was about, but boy was I happily surprised, its so easy to use as you arent peering through a finderscopes lens.
If you can, get both items, you can aways flog off what you dont want later on.
