I just had a long chat with SWMBO and the upshot is i've been given the OK to order a gemini G41 :woohoo: :P

With the 3 month wait, it will be mid January before I'll get hold of it, but by all reports it's gonna be worth the wait!

So I really can't wait to hear how Michael is getting on!!!

PEC should bring the PE down to about +-2 or better, from what I hear.

Dave G, the quote i got for the CGE was €3798 + €78 delivery, which compares very favourably with the D. Hinds price.

The GM11 shipped from the states looks like a very good deal including the taxes and shipping, however, I would be worried about service and back up from across the atlantic.

That would concern me too. Did I mention that Venturescope are UK dealers for losmandy? At least if something went wrong you would only have to return it to the UK. However, the QC on these things is very good, I wouldn't be expecting any major issues anyway but you never know.
