While I agree that eBay can be dangerous, I've had quite good luck with AstroMart. (You can certainly buy used Tele Vue Plossls in the range you specified -- usually around $65). The downside is that perhaps 2/3 of the sellers won't ship overseas -- but just keep asking and you'll find some who will.

have a look at the following review
www.astromart.com/articles/article.asp?article_id=154
they seem to be good eyepieces, although ones on ebay are an unknown, i'd be more happy using astromart.com,. atleast those people are all astronomers and in the know, and I havent heard of any fraud there.

If you want top quality Vixen eyepieces go to astroshop.biz
They have a ton of Vixen eyes that are one of the best make you can buy. I've done away with buying anything from astronomy shops in Ireland, which shall remain nameless. I got a 6mm (42 euros inc. shipping) Vixen super plossl eyepiece to use for the planets, which on my scope gives me a magnification of 166x ( that'sthe most magnification my scope can handle)
The resulting image of jupiter was amazing. Crisp , contrast and detailed view. The GRS was clearly visiible with a tint of colour. This isn't bad considering I was only using a 6" reflector. Anyways I hope your search turns up the results you want.

I picked up a full coated Celestron 32mm on eBay in the US. All in, it cost me €26. Used it for the first time last night and was very impressed compared to the stock stuff that came with the 'scope.

I have purchased Meade Series 4000 eyepieces and I find them of excellent quality. They also come supplied with eyepiece cases that screw together which is a good feature. They are reasonably priced and I believe that Meade are offering a set along with filters at a reasonable price, I'm just not sure where.
