Maybe I got lucky.
Anyway if anyone buys and doesn't like them they can always take them back for a full refund.
P.S. My imported Celestron binocs weren't worth posting back to California. They were robbed out of my car and my insurance payed for them. Good riddance.
(My present superb 6" refractor is a Celestron in case you'r thinking.)

I bought the bresser binoculars there a couple of months back. They are superb. I had little expectation for 20lids. They are as good as ANY i have seen.
However some people mentioned they felt they eye releif was awful. However the eyereleif is user adjustable!! The thing is the eye piece cups (where you normally do the left eye finefocussing) both twist and unscrew slightly. Twist them out to the max and the eyereleif is huge, great if you wear glasses!!!

Hi Peter,
The Celestron 15x70mms can be a mixed batch. On CloudyNights.com there have been long discussions about the model in the Binocular forum and some people have got lucky with them. I picked up a pair at the RTMC Astro Expo in California this year and was able to try them out on the two nights we had observing. Really pleased with them and they are a nice complement to the bigger guns. In fact, it's the Strathspey's giving me a problem now as the focusser has shattered ... almost as if it had metal fatigue
All the best,
John

Those Celestrons sure did give me a shock John, especially coming from a company with the excellent reputation of Celestron.
I am bracing myself to be to be pilloried for recommending binocs costing Euro 17.99.
The bonfires are being lit!
Peter.
