The quality in the binocs can vary, but generally the are more than good value. I have owned three pairs, one set is much better than rest.. Try and have a look at them in store to see if they are ok in terms of round exit pupils, collimation etc..

Trevor, that Bresser spotting scope listed on the UK Lidl site for the 7th is one of the ones with the 45 degree correct image zoom eyepieces. It looks like it's the same design as the Meade Red Tail 25-75x90 but it's 1/3rd of the Meade Europe list price.

Hi John, i just had a look at the redtails and they are about £300 with table top tripod from uk suppliers, Still at £100 stg with a decent sized tripod it is an excellent deal...IF the optics are ok. and if it comes to ireland
