Thought some of ye may be interested in this. TV Ethos line with a 100 degree apparent field! Could mean a drop in the price of Naglers on the used market soon though
They've only shown the 13mm so far. No price announcements as of yet.

I suppose this eyepiece will have to be surgically implanted into your eye to be used properly
I always felt that the standard 82 degree field of views were a bit narrow, I'm holding out for the full 360 degree field of view eyepieces
anyone out there wanting to sell their now redundant out of date naglers, just send me a PM

OK folks.
Hold it.
Let's all just calm down now.
Put your wallets down and back away slowly before anyone gets hurt.
That's it, nice and easy. See, that wasn't hard, was it?
Now, let's just wait until we see some impartial reviews of eyepieces from a full-blown production run before we rush into buying anything.

We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started

Matthew,
I'm not usually a fan of zoom eyepieces, they have limited fields of view and 3mm is abit to short for me. The 8-24 is a nice range but again you're compromising on field of view.

Good advice. I'll be sticking with my Hyperions, but maybe I'll get tempted by a standard Nagler sometime if they do drop in price
The Ethos would be a killer EP in that Obsession I guess! Would probably cost enough to get a 3 inch APO though!
Must fight temptation!!!!!

Me neither, but I've been lustily looking at the Hyperion Zoom. 50-68 degrees in pretty amazing in an 8-24mm! If it's optics are anything like the standard hyps it must be excellent.I'm not usually a fan of zoom eyepieces
