Im making a bracket to allow me to piggyback my camera on the scope, as none are currently manufactured for the 6" sct. I want to do this using availiable screw holes, and the only ones availiable are those used to hold on the finder scope bracket.

The problem is when i attached my telrad base, i attached it way to close to the finder scope so if i am to use the same screw holes, I will have to move the telrad base. I dont want to have to buy a new base so does anyone know where i can get some of those sticky pads used to hold the telrad base firmly in place on the scope?

Any hardware shop like Woodies will have standard two-sided sticky pads. which should suffice if not too thick and flexing but if you want a really good thin double-side sticky pad try a motor accessory shop or dealer parts dept and get those used to stick rear view mirrors to windscreens on older cars.

Try Easons or other stationary shops. They sell double sided sticky pads. Art and crafts shops too. I think they are made by PritStic

those pritStick ones wont do the job in question. the adhesive is way too weak. The ones teh telrad currently uses are the type that takes a knife and a considerable bit of messing to remove once applied. very solid. il try a motor store, i think i saw them before there, now that you mention it.

Thanks.

You will probably be able to find some double face foam tape around. Let me know if you are stuck (or unstuck -pardon the pun). I work for a sticky tape company......
