New Scope Arrived was created by carlobeirnes
Hi all,
Well my new scope arrived a couple of days ago. The scope I picked was for imaging deep sky objects so I went for the William Optics FLT-110 f/6.5 Triplet SD APO refractor.
Aperture 110mm
Focal Ratio F/7
Focal Length 770mm
Objective Type 3 elements Air-spaced, TMB Design
Resolving Power 1.05"
Limiting Magnitude 12.0
Lens Shade Retractable
Focuser 4" 360° Rotating Camera-angle Adjuster
1.25" Adapter Included
1.25" Adapter Brass Compression Rings
Tube Diameter 115mm
Tube Length 24.6" (630mm) Fully Retracted
Tube Weight 14.5lbs. (6.55kg)
Case High Quality Aluminum Case
Case Dimensions
(W x H x D) 31.8" x 9.6" x 7.8"
(81.5cm x 24.5cm x 20cm)
(Total interior length 740mm)
Case Weight 5.3kg
I also got a large format 0.8x field flattener designed by TMB. Perfect correction towards the edge of the 35mm film format. T2 thread on the camera side. The flattener improves the photographical performance a lot and reduces the focal length of the telescope.
'm looking forward to getting cracking with this scope. The pictures just don't do this scope justice till you see it out of the box. I'm just waiting on the side by side plate to land on my door step and get this thing working one the CGE mount. I will be doing a new equipment list on www.webtreatz.com when it is all is up and running.
