Yes, they have much more charge and keep the voltage up longer. You can get them in the US easilyin AA and AAA format. (I forgot to order them with the laser pen.

Hi All
Just picked up this going through my mail list as I've not ha much time lately to go on line thanks to hectic work schedule.
To clarify position re laser pointers, the prices I quoted were for the individual delivery and Alvine is correct that I was only charged $21 for THREE pointers & a remote ,this is EXTREMELY good value as those ofyou who deal on the internet know that one can be charged a set minimum postage per item irrespective of the volume.
Also the service is excellent and as some of you saw in Tullamore they were the best pointers on the night.
May I also add guys ,how many suppliers that you have dealt with have either the interest ,savvy or even courtesy to register on our site and to reply personally to questions.
In my own business dealings thats a rarity, good service, professionalism and backup are more cherished in good business than the lowest possible denominator ,think IRISH FERRIES

My only regret is that I missed this link when it was posted,as I found Alvine to be a most honest and accomodating person to do business with, she also posted my package as "samples" to avoid the obvious !!
Being in business myself the person one is dealing with is as important as the deal itself.

Regards

Eugene

I bought one of these lasers and remote a while back from Alvine at atlas nova. The remote switch started acting up and giving me a little trouble. I sent an email to Alvine at atlasnova and they are posting me out a replacement remote switch free of charge. Thats what I call service :D

Cheers
Trevor

Lads,
You just have to see this,
www.wickedlasers.com/videos.php

Stand back those with 5, 10 15 mW lasers, here comes the 100mW laser !
It cuts through leather, pops baloons and shines a beam 40 miles high, the 125mW makes a beam 50 miles high
You'd need a welders mask using this thing
