See the 60mm SolaREDI:

Looks very interesting!!
Nice decent focal length, good options on bandpass, full 35mm blocking filter, excellent 2" dual speed Moonlite focuser, solar finder, 12mm eyepiece, 10 year warranty, excellent trade-in policy and a lead time of only 0-2 weeks.
Really does look like an excellent all-round package!
Michael.

0.3 angstom bandpass, sweet!!
when they mention a 35mm filter do they mean having that somewhere along the focal length so you still get the 60mm lens aperture ?

Correct.
It would belocated back near the focuser.
I assume the design would be similar in some ways to the PST.

Go for it Michael! I'd love to do a side-by-side comparo of a 70mm 0.7-angstrom air-spaced etalon with a 60mm 0.5-angstrom mica etalon.
The former has a bit more aperture and probably a flatter bandpass, but the latter has a narrower bandpass and a better price. I'd love to see how it nets out.

If the euro/dollar exchange rate had remained favourable, I really would jump at it. Unfortunately, the changes in the currency exchange of the past few weeks make it less value for money. I am keeping my eye on it though. Ideally, I would like slightly larger aperture if I could get it. I'm still looking int the possibility of a daystar/solar spectrum rear-mounted filter with aperture in the range of 125mm.

I bought that 0.7A 60 mm Daystar SolarRedi telescope there less than two weeks ago. I'm thinking of selling it though.
