Integrated Image and Catalogue Archive Service

This facility allows you to extract catalogue data and plot up finder charts. In addition, we have available the raw images from scanning the major photographic surveys. You can overplot the catalogue data onto the images, as well as overplot your own additional markers.

Basically give it an RA and Dec and field of view and it will trundle off and get data finder charts and images from surveys, optionally fitted and overlayed. Its mainly of use to researchers, but having a star chart and a photographic image of the area you plan on observing should be of interest to regular observers.
