Planisphere applications for Pocket PC

I was just wondering if anyone could recommend any planisphere applications for Pocket PC?

One of the best all round astronomy programs I've used is Pocket stars from Nomad Electronics. nomadelectronics.com
It only cost €21.44 to register it. Try it on a free 30 day trial and I guarantee you'll buy it. It also has a PC version, for just a few bob extra which will synchronise with the PPC version.

Great Thanks, I'll give it a go. I see you have a 102 SLT. I bought one aswell but haven't really had a chance to use it. How do you find it?

I only have it since end of January and haven't had much of a chance to use it yet. Optically I think it's quite good, and the mount is sound enough. The eyepieces that came with it are a little on the cheap side, so I'll be replacing them bit by bit. I ordered a 2x Celestron Omni Barlow when I ordered the scope, and currently have a Soligor 6mm plossl on the way to me. The red-dot finder is a bit of a joke so I'll be looking to replace that also. I will probably also replace the diagonal with a 2" version.
The Skyalign feature is a bit overrated I reckon. A good alignment is still dependant on picking good seperation on alignment stars. I haven't had much of a chance to test GOTO yet. I'll probably do a full review once I've had it for a while.
Since I've had it I've made a cable to link it to my PC, and done an update on the Hand Controller software to version 4.10. Also made a solar filter cell from Baader AstroSolar sheet, which I'm hoping to test out this weekend, this will also be a good chance to test the Solar Tracking mode.
What about you? ~What do you make of it?

I really haven't had a chance to use it. I'm staying in a small place at the moment so I can't even keep it there. I've left it in a friends. I won't really get to use it till I move to the new place. I only tried it once, had a quick go at the skyalign but it failed and I agree, the reddot finder wasn't great. Had a look at saturn, it was very small as I was using the 12mm supplied eyepiece but it was crisp. I just ordered 2 new eyepieces from a place called apoogeinc but I have not heard anything from them since and they are not replying to mails so I'll have to try and cancel that. I am now thinking of buying the Celestron eyepiece and filter kit, what do you think?

I'd be a bit wary of buying an eyepiece kit that didn't state the model of eyepiece. These look in the pics similar to the ones I received with my scope so I wouldn't part with much cash for these, I don't think they are made by Celestron. You'd be much better to invest in quality eyepieces one at a time, the Celestron Omni range is a good starter. As for filters, I'm no expert but providing you're not using them for photography, it's probably reasonably safe to buy these as a kit.
Remember you'll probably change you're scope over time, but a good set of eyepieces will see you through all changes.
