Commodore 64 Joystick was created by Paul FitzGerald
I came across the following re. the old C64. It may be of particular interest to you, David L. If I remember correctly, you were able to work on the C64 joystick to guide your scope:
www.cmctech.co.uk/
For the techies, here are the details of the hardware:
· Custom 0.35 micron ASIC chip running at 1 Mhz
· 128K RAM, 2MB or ROM
· 256 colours available on screen
Could this be used like the old ones, I wonder :
If not, at least it'll take some of us back to our youth

Hi Paul,
I'd bet if you were to get the red joystick on that site and rip out all the semi expensive electronics out of it, you could add it to your scope like I did.
A pity really, of the $29 value, I'd imagine you'd need about $5 of it, as the electronics is probabily the "expensive" part, which you wouldn't need for the mod.

you realise Seanie that since I've patented this, that if you use the word in any form you need to pay the cost in nagler eyepieces.
