Neat Image - This is amazing! was created by DaveGrennan
I discovered this little program this evening and quite frankly im amazed by it.

You can download the demo/free version from;

www.neatimage.com/

Its called neat image and is available in free/pro/plugin versions.
It removes noise from images and its hard to deny it does an amazing job. I havent played much with it an just ran my horsehead nebula shot through it in auto mode.

Heres a comparison image;

Pretty cool huh?

The version I used there is free. Its only limited in that if can just save jpeg. The pay version ranges from 29.95USD to 79.95 USD the difference being that the more expensive versions include things like plugins for photoshop/paint shop etc.

Also you need to appreciate that the sample above was done pn an already comressed lo res jpg.

For me its just a question of which version to buy, I'm sold!
