Hi Folks

Latest Saturm image. Unfortuneately it was thro' some dense fog while making for great seeing gave a very dim image, hence the grainyness.

Usual setup TUC in raw mode to reduce noise as much as possible 998 frames out of 1500

Dave,

Great images as usual. There is lots of detail in the Saturn image but it is very dark on my monitor. Mars detail is stunning for the size of the disk now.

Excellent....

Superb detail in both images Dave! What struck me in the Saturn image is the tilt of her rings. It's amazing how much the tilt has changed over the last couple of years. For comparitive purposes, here's a shot I took back in 2003.

In this image, you can see that only a small portion of the ring was blocked out behind the polar region. On Dave's image, a large chunk of the ring is hidden from view.
The Mars image is also particularly good, especially now that it's well past opposition!

Clear skies,

The Saturn image shows some great colouration despite the dark tint Dave. The Mars image is superb with the detail for a small disk.
