Beehive M44 was created by Jed Glover
Hi all,

This last weekend Dave Grennan, Phil Lardner and myself (with special visit from Ronan Newman on Saturday night) were in Mayo on a astro weekend.

I know Dave Grennan has a couple of shots to post and here is one I did over the weekend.

As usual the details are posted below the image.

Later,

Jed.

Jed - that's a lovely image. Nice and sharp and well framed. Might be my monitor but there seems to be a marginal blue tinge?

Well done!

Dave

Very nice close in shot there guys :D That's a great arsenal you got there!

But I too see a slight blue tinge, maybe it all those blue stars!

Hi all,

Colour balance is quite an issue!

My general take on colour balance is this, if the image looks good to me I leave it alone.

Dave Grennan recons it should be more red, and the images on the web seem very red, but with my equipment that is how it looks.

Jed.
