Well if there was any doubt that I'm buying this camera there is none now!
webtreatz.com/component/option,com_zoom/...geNo,4/key,28/hit,1/
In the end I only got to use 10 of the 20 images I took as I forgot I binned 2x2 the second 10 (this image is from the binned set).
Cant wait to get a night to do a proper LRGB image!!

Now *that* is much better. The difference in dark subtraction is clear. And the longer integration (50 mins) shows too. Imagine if you had 100 mins of luminance data....
What was the 2x2 image like? And can you still not combine it in? I've never done it myself (the DSI can't be binned) but I know LRGB imagers regularly bin the colour data 2x2 but do the luminance unbinned.
Is the imager cooled at all? And if you can tweak the guiding a little, there'll be no stopping you!
Well done and I'd certainly like to see more.
Cheers
Dave

Fabulous! One to keep!
Pity there was a v. slight tracking error. That camera does seem very good.

Now that is a genuinely stunning shot! Your heart must have skipped a beat when the results of the processing flashed up on screen
Any news on Jed's SAC10? Has he got it sorted out yet?

Yes a new camera head arrived last week. Checks out fine, now all he needs is a clear sky.
