Lagoon Nebula was created by Keith g
Sorry to bore with another lagoon nebula, but I had to post this, I recently downloaded a new stacking program called deepsky stacker, and went over some of my month old m8 images to redo them, after 3 hours plus of automatic stacking last night, this is the result. Finally got the hang of 'dark' frames too It's a lot better than last time... Now to try it next clear night....20 frames at ISO 400 & 800..the colour is a lot better.

Thats a ;ovely shot keep. We'll never tire of seeing photos like that.
That said, do you think the focus was a teeny tad off? Maybe its the new stacking software.
Still a magnificent shot.

Its a bit better than 'not bad'. Its a damn fine shot. I hope I didnt offend you with my comments. They're meant to be constructive in every possible sense.
It also needs saying that as far as wide field deep sky astrophotography goes, your up there with the very best IMHO.
