Neptune & Uranus was created by Frank Ryan
First attempt at seeing and photographing these two planets through a scope last night.
I was very surprised at just how strong the colours were through the eyepiece.
These photos obviously don't do them justice....
just blurs really...
but the colour is still there all the same.
I was hoping to catch Triton but I guess a larger scope is needed?
Still, it's awsome to think that you can see anything of the colour reflected off clouds so far away!
ETX 125, Canon 350D, 10 sec, ISO 1600.
No prosessing.

Ah, well not quite...let's not forget the vertically-challenged planets Bart. Just because they are altitudinally disadvantaged don't mean you can simply not bother to look at them, Bart!
Have fun,

Good attempts Frank, you might want to reduce the exposure time whe getting Uranus, its abit over exposed, they are difficult planets to get.
