Hi all,
here is an image of the moons serface Rheita valley, i captured 3000 frames 500 used 35 frames per sec.

22nd February 2007, New Havey Observatory, Balbriggan. CGE 14" @ f/11. Lumenera SkyYnx 2.0. Astronomik Red Filter. Processing Registax, CS2, and Images Plus 2.8 (Adaptive Lucy-Richardson).

I agree with Michael. Super shot but its driving me mad. I am finding it very hard for the craters to be craters and not domes. I have managed to flip them into craters twice for a short period and then back to domes. It must be the time of night and tired eyes.

Well done Carl!! First rate image.

Keiran: I know exactly what you mean. I was just saying exactly that to Carl earlier. It's wild isnt it! I found if you want to flip to craters look to the right of Carls image (especially at the big crater to the right. Look left and it flips to domes. Like a free LSD trip without the drugs :)

Great image Carl,
Some fine detail visible there, one thing I would do is brighten it up slightly, its a bit dark IMHO.

The details you managed to capture are first rate Carl, it shows how the valley actually bends a little and it really demonstrates the various stages of lunar bombardment with numerous craters overlying the valley.
