Beautiful 'globe' effect going on there Dave. 'Surface' features are plain, but the presence is really felt.

Yeah I dont know if its wishful thinking or if there is detail visible or not.

BTW as far as I know these are there first UV / cloud detail images ever imaged from Ireland though I do stand to be corrected on this.

Upon closer inspection, I see faint texture in the disk image, is it an imaging artefact, seeing or real, I don't know, but it is definitely interesting all the same.

Thats the question Dave. I'm always careful to use something like an edge preserve noise reduction in Paint Shop Pro X to make sure I'm not seeing artefacts. If I crank up the sharpening any more I start to get artificial noise so I'm loath to to do it.
