Was waiting to catch the moon and Jupiter rising tonight - however a fight ensued with sodium lights and positioning of camera - results could be better; Canon 350D and 300mm zoom lens on photo-tripod - low res versions below:

The second image is magic, the moon is like a flash light in the sky, but can I ask, how is Jupiter trailed ?

love the second image, even if a tad over-exposed! Nothing like seeing the Moon up close to some landscapes to give it a bigger character than it already has!
