Double-shifting .... was created by ayiomamitis
Folks,

I am already ducking and heading for cover at the bricks (and insults) to be directed my way ... yesterday I received my new AP mount - a Mach1GTO - and it looks very impressive. Aside from wanting such a premium mount for offsite work such as next year's total solar eclipse, I am equally encouraged and delighted by the prospect of having two scopes imaging at the same time at home.

My two scenarios are as follows:

(1) AP160 + AP 1200GTO
(2) Tak FSQ-106 + AP Mach1GTO

I have everything but a second CCD camera and filters (I do have a second SBIG filter wheel).

Just the idea of turning out twice as much work each evening is really exciting and most productive. HEAVEN!

I hear Seanie has a spare DSLR now. I'm sure he won't mind sending it over to his "buddy"...

Oh, and congrats on the new baby. At least you have the skies for all the gear, unlike us.

Anthony --

I don't know about all those refractor-thingies you're using...

... but nice pair of mounts!
