Milky Way in Cygnus was created by paulevans
Took this on 8th August, only just got around to processing it.

Camera with 28mm lens mounted on LXD75 scope and mount - 2mins 15 secs f2.8 ISO 800

Some LP which I can't seem to get rid of but lots of H-alpha survives the IR filter in the camera.

Clear skies,

Paul.

Paul, what camera is it you used? That's very good h-alpha presponse for 2 minutes 15 seconds. Lot of stars there Indeed!

Thanks John, I'm pretty pleased with it.

Keith, my camera is a Konica Minolta Dynax 5D. One of its lesser known features is that it has a better than usual response down into the deep reds allowing it to capture H-alpha.

Clear skies,

Paul.

I did'nt know that, at least that is an advantage over the Canon dslr's, the red response unmodified is poor enough, if it's clear tonight I plan on maybe shooting the north america nebula, as I only have a 400D since June.

Just for comparison with your shot, we'll see how it goes
