First MArs image of the new season

Hi Folks

First Mars image taken at 7am last Wed. RGB img using astronomik filters CG11 at f/30. Had to rush it as I got up late and had to collimate the scope and was loosing Mars into the Dawn all the time.

A striking image Dave!, it confirms what we saw through the scope last night, a nice big white polar cap !

Wow Dave. That's excellent - buckets of detail in there.
What kind of camera did you use?

It was the Lumenera Trev I havent got the Neximage (from s@n) out of the box yet. The sseing was the best I'd seen in ages. It's going to be some treat being so high up this year.
Great proms BTW. I'm off shift at the mo (9 to 5) so cant get out during the week to image th Sun.
