I just snapped this at around 18:40hrs this evening. One after another a passenger jet far, far away passed in front of the Moon. This one looks like it's going to hit the "dark" side...
Canon 350D, 300mm lens, some cropping, no processing, c. 1/125th second.

Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.

Great shot Seanie it has a science fiction feel to it, like something out of Star Wars.

Seanie,
Congrats from me as well. Now, if you could play around ever so slightly with the processing, it just makes me wonder how much more stunning it would be .... a little curves, a little contrast enhancement, a tad levels ....
Anyway, such photos are always great ... good stuff!
