Here's the result of last night's imaging from me. Again gradients were an awful problem. I really can't find the cause and flats didn't help much.
Anyway anough whining.

See how many galaxies you can count. Later I'll post an overlayed version and see who's the winner. The prize is a pair of Anthony's hand knitted boxer shorts!

Hey Dave thanks for that link as for the shot i think thats the first amature shot of that part of the sky i've seen great to see and a great capture, is that dense or what? Is that area associated with gravational lensing because if so when counting galaxies you may be counting the same galaxies two or three times, anyway those boxer shorts are bound to be worth a few bob in years to come  so im saying at least 40 galaxies. PS, pitty about the gradient is it uniform it looks like there may be some symetry maybe strips starting at the top right hand side and stretching down through the centre at an angle of about 50 degrees, or am i just tired and should go to bed.

Cracking shot Dave! I think I lost count a couple of times but I reckon there must be around 35-36 obvious galaxies and a whole host of other possibles! They're like cockroaches scurrying out of the woodwork!!

89? I hope not!
Stunning shot Dave. What would it have been like in black and white?
