Just caught Holmes in the 10x50s as the light has faded - it's brighter than Mirphak!!
We're still in between rain showers here but I'll be getting the 'scope on it shortly.

Wow. Bigger than Jupiter and getting brighter..
Some say they can see the expanding shell naked eye.
That 'cone' really does seem to be where the out gassing is occurring.

Got the first opportunity to see it this evening as twilight began. Got the binos on it. Fab sight.....
