Another Lunar Mosaic 6th December (new image) was created by james335k
Hi all,
I didn't quite manage the whole Moon this time round. With limited time on my hands I focused on the southern hemisphere's terminator. The mosaic consists of about 12 images and was taken between 17.00 and 18.00 on Saturday the 6th December. Equipment used was a Celestron C8 SCT with a DMK21AU04.AS mono camera attached. All images were processed using Registax and combined in Photoshop CS3.

Gosh James that looks great, I had the pleasure of looking at Clavius that same evening through Michael O'Connell's 16inch , it is burned on my brain. Your Clavius is so crispy , really really very nice.

I can only imagine beauty of the view through Michael's scope. I'm delighted you like it D. It's a shame that Flickr's image compression is too small to view the mosaic in it's original size.

That's pretty amazing. Well done. Seems like a lot of us were out imaging the moon sat night. Pity my session was cut short by the freezing fog. It was great while it lasted.

It seems like there's always something to hamper proceedings Steve. It wasn't fog that ruined my night but an 'emergency' in work that i had to sort. Ah sure we can always live in hope for that one uninterrupted night of perfect seeing!
