Rosette Nebula was created by wellbuttie
Tried to target the Rosette Nebula, for the first time last night and got some sort of a result.
This is it:
Canon 350D, Baader UHC-S filter, Megrez 90, piggybacked on a CGE11" SCT. 60 x 60 Sec frames.
Best regards
Steve

Nice one Steve. That modded camera can give expensive ccd's a run for their money.

Nice work Steve! It does appear brighter than your other traditional Rosette Nebula images, but I like it!

Some sort of a result - I'll say...
Nice one Steve, you have me seriously considering getting my 350D modded.
Though then I'd need a new camera and I also want to get that EQ6Pro mount, oh and then there's the observatory and a pier, and a solarscope for the summer would be good and a guidescope and guide camera would come in very handy, then there's always the option of moving to La Palma for better skies while I'm at it and.....and...
