Moon Pictures was created by raymond
Hi everybody,
Finally got the chance to take some more photos of the moon. :X Just my second attempt at trying to take pictures of the moon. I am trying to understand the functions of the camera, a Canon EOS 450D. Happy with the results achieved so far . Thanks for the great site, and as usual the pictures are great in flickr.

Hey Raymond, I really like shots 1&3, these are really good attempts, the 450D is a fine camera, a helpful hint is to reduce the 'noise' in the images, you can download Noiseware for free, also there is another program for removing noise at
www.mediachance.com
. It's called 'Hotpixels' and will remove any really bad noise out of the shot.
Also handy is too leave the camera cool down outside in the shed to keep the sensor cool, that way less noise is produced in the shot. Good focus, the live view really helps !
