Got the December mag (observing guide is on its way!) and with it a lovely calendar for next year. Michael O'Connell's excellent pic of the moon is April's pic. Congrats!

Saw that. Well done Michael.

Does this make him Mr. April 2010 pin-up...?

Just got it today. Thanks Lads.

Quite appropriate that it be released in November, when Frank Ryan's image from the Poulnabrone Dolmen is hanging on my wall from the 2009 Calendar - an IFAS 2 in a row.

Michael.

Got my mag & calendar Weds & took it to my evening class where Michael's photo was passed round and much admired. Well done again Michael, so the challenge is for an IFAS member to make next year's calendar and keep this 'tradition' going B)

Thanks Frank and Bernie.

Nicely done Mr. April!

Reminds me of Practical Astronomer magazine (now gone, sadly).
Used to have a "centrefold" - usually a deep sky object, rather than a two-legged heavenly body unfortunately ;-)
