Cygnus Starfields was created by Keith g
Hi all, on these short summer nights, I've had some time to go over a shot or two, here I present the constellation Cygnus taken in early May when I took advantage of a clear moonless night with superb seeing when we had a lot of cold polar air over Ireland (remember that?)
It shows many deep sky objects and large dust lanes throughout, there are too many objects visible here to name them all, but it was a superb night! I've had to run the final shot through a little noiseware as I felt I had captured too many stars :silly:
I can't wait for the rest of the summer Enjoy (or critiscism welcome)

Beautiful Keith! As you say, it really whets the appetite for the glories of the Summer skies.

Lovely image Keith. You captured the nebulae in the area very well too. Was this tracked using the cge mount?

Thanks guys for your comments!
No John, this was taken on my astrotrac mount, it was really the first time it was put to the test, it would track well anyway since this is a widefield shot.
