Trip to Australia was created by smahon
Hi all,
Just got back from a trip to Australia with the in-laws and I made a first attempt at some wide-field photography with my Canon 400d. I also had a chance to make and test out a basic barn-door tracker and I was impressed with the results (in my opinion anyway...).
I've tweaked levels a small bit in photoshop and have thrown in a couple of starbursts for effect on 1 or 2 of the shots, but let me know what you experienced guys think. I will certainly be setting up the barn-door here and giving it a go.
Thanks
Stephen

Great shots Stephen. I love the shot of the planets from the Gold Coast. Is that Jupiters casino in the foreground? Another place I used to frequent:lol:

Thanks for the comments guys. It was pretty special, seeing the 4 planets against that background alright!
John, Jupiters was out the other side of our apartment and unfortunately the House won on my last visit there
