M31 - Andromeda

Hi All

So my new field flattener arrived, so I tested it out on my Celestron C80ED APO refractor, my first target was of course Andromeda, I got 4.46 hours worth of exposures, and I plan on adding more + Hydrogen Alpha data to the image, but here it is so far:

That's awesome, Simon. Lovely clean image.

Found an issue when looking at the image through Firefox, it doesn't seem to render the image correctly, use IE or Chrome instead....there was me thinking it was my monitor

I added more RGB Frames + Hydrogen Alpha frames

In total there's now 85x5 Min RGB + 31x10Min HA, this takes it to 12.25 Hours of exposure time, this is by far my longest project yet!

Fabulous work, Simon. Congratulations! Some super detail coming out of the dust lanes and star forming regions. Is that the h-alpha at work there?
