Hi Anthony,
I felt that this was the problem, the fact that its soooo much brighter then the dwarf just swamps out the image.
7 arc seconds might sound like a mile and easily seen through a scope, were you able to visually see it through your scope ??


Phil, An occulting bar probability would work , but the implementation might be a problem, anyone out there have one in their scope ?

Hi Dave,

With a difference of 10 mags (or 10,000x), there is a very dramatic difference which impacts the CCD image in a negative way. I am still experimenting and I am very eager and keen on gettting a favourable result.

As for observation, I have to confess that I have not tried to do so.
