book list was created by Jared Macphester
Ahhhhh... let me see.

Can anyone help with a book list.
Fiction - with astronomy (or some aspect of astronomy) being a component of the plot - in some fashion. (Not Science Fiction or Textbooks.)

Example.

John Banville - Dr. Copernicus, The Newton Letters, Kepler
Thomas Hardy - Two on a Tower

and so forth

Thank you in advance for any help you can give.

That could be a tough one Jared! Figuring its with science, it could almost become a science fiction story in itself??

"The Dork of Cork" by Chet Raymo (about a dwarf astronomer . . . loosely based on Kepler).

just re-read your post again Jared. Here's a couple of thrillers I read recently that were written by Clive Cussler (he of the "Raise the Titanic" book/ film fame).

"Sacred Stone" . . . about a radioactive meteorite being used by a group planning to do no good in the Middle East.

"Polar Shift" . . . about a group planning to disturb the Earth's magnetic field for their own gain (yep, sounds far-fetched and I'd need a few pages to give the gist of the plot).

. . . both books a bit of nonsense compared to what Cussler wrote before but hey, it's good to switch off the brain for a couple of evenings :D
