astronomers from wicklow

hi was wondering if there many people from the wicklow area interested in astronomy and would like to start a group ?

What area of Wicklow are you based?

i,m from newtownmountkennedy and am interested in astronomy a few years now have 2 scopes a nexstar 102 slt and a 6 inch reflector .looking to maybe start or join a group and talk to like-minded people .

A few of us here go observing at the Sugarloaf regularly.

I was at an observing session in Trooperstown a few years back which was quite good.

Do you know of any other sites around Newtownmountkennedy?

There is a get together on the 11th August at the Sugarloaf to view the Perseids, perhaps you can get along to that.
