Hi Frank, I believe that the maximum is tonight at 11pm our time, but there is a prediction that there will be a greta outburst at about 4.45am on Sunday morning...we'll see...

So how did any of you go outside. I was out imaging and meteor watching all night. To be honest I felt the 4:45 event was a non entity. I saw the grand total of two leonids and 4 sporadics in the space of 1hr 15mins. Still it was a glorious night.

Hi all,

I got up at 4 and ventured into the cold on Sunday morning. Great sky down my neck of the woods. From 4 till 5am I saw about 20 defintite Leonids. None, however where great and I've seen plenty better on non 'shower' nights.
Went back to bed trying to convince myself it was worth getting up (!)

Mark
