Anyway, I seriously doubt if I will hear from them given the three weeks (at least) which have already passed since my message to them.

Another greek group, with Aris Mill-man, Martha, etc, will stay in Centralnaya Hotel. This is on the same street with ours, a little further away!

(I hope Aris's snoring at night has been reduced to an acceptable level, so we can have a descent sleep)

And no photograph or video will ever be like the actual naked eye experience. In my first total eclipse in Kasterllorizo, 2006, I thought I was prepared for everything, I thought I was an experienced amateur astronomer, I thought I was ready to take great photos. Well, at the time of the event, I found myself cought by the unbearable lightness of being!It was impossible to concentrate on anything else but THE SUN. Time was passing in a strange way. Neither slow nor fast. It was just different.
I even forgot my name. I remember like in a dream, I was hearing a voice screaming "Filters, Vagelis, Filters" and after a whole minute passed, I thought: "Hm... Vagelis? That must be me!". I just hadn't taken off the filters from the camera lens for a whole minute.
Unique experience!

Vagelis Tsamis i know it is not gonna be a total eclipse from europe.............for those of us that cant afford to travel.................a partial is the best we can get.t

What's important for someone and what's not.
It's strange, but I 've heard people that can afford a set of 600 euro Naglers (each) saying they can't afford an eclipse trip, or they 're not interested in it.
