Don't forget Venus and Jupiter

On Friday morning they are at thier closest together, low down in the south eastern sky at about 7.30-8.00 am.

I saw them both this morning at about 3 degrees apart in my 15x70mm binoculars, but it was quite bright by then, so a photgraph may be difficult.

Thanks for the reminder Keith.
I tried to see the pair myself this morning but I just couldn't see them
because of blasted clouds SMACK bang where they were (typical!)

I see that they will be only a few deg. apart on Fri.
There is a nice crescent moon near Antares also so
it should make for a nice photo op and will also look
fab in Binos!

When would be the beginning of the 'premier' time to see Jupiter? March? later?

it will be in opposition in july :lol:

I suppose that from the end of March, but it will be very low this year
