Hi there

Can someone tell me how this Comet 2012 link has appeared on the site?

Clicking onto the link I'm told that a permanent winter is upon us, the end of the world is in 2012, and just before Christmas, what a bummer,:( Jesus is coming and that Barak Obama is the anti-christ, if Jesus does return it will be interesting to see if the pair meet.:silly:

Why is a site filled with such nonsense allowed on a serious site dealing with the science of astronomy?

How much more would it cost the IFAS site to have the google ads removed? I presume the advertising keeps the cost of the site down.

No doubt the (the Google advertising)keeps the cost of the site down, however, I think the "2012" advert could be spreading the wrong message, with new visitors to the site thinking that we are forecasters of Doom (Not the case....we are just observers of the heavens!!)..... I wonder is there anyway to filter the adverts so that they are approprite to the site?
