ISS Tranist the Moon this Evening ? was created by manic_dave
Got some emails pointing this out (from a defunct company that shall remain nameless).
Needless to say, that's something id like a look at.
From my location in the Midlands its a near miss. Further south of Portlaoise up into Kildare and Clondalkin and up to Swords should get it.
it also looks good in Cork and Kerry, see Heavens-above.com
With the moon so small, might not be easy to photo, but I might drive South and give it a bash.
To save you having to use the SMS message system ( 1 euro per Text to help Support Astronomy and Space in Ireland )

In waterford so I'm heading to Naas which is on the line. plan on setting camera into video and shot mode and recording it.

Trying to think where in Naas would be a good spot. you will need to have a good view South West.

Putting in cords into heavens above it seems to miss the moon. tried curragh and same not sure if looking at it right
