How do I edit the calender and front page

How do I edit the calender and front page was created by dave_lillis
Guys,
Do ifas reps have access to update the calender, I'd like to edit our talk details and the events on the front page, or at least get them changed.

Dave,
the Events listed on the homeage are taken from the Calendar. If you want to edit a Calendar entry, simply click on it, and on the right (opposite the event's heading) you will see 2 buttons - Edit (pencil and paper graphic) and Print (a printer). Just click on the Edit graphic and edit the entry as normal. Once saved, it will automatically update on the homepage too. If you need help, just ask.

So the thing to do would be for admin to delete SAC meetings for October/November/December and I enter them back in.
But, I cant seem to create one in an empty date in the first place, there is no edit button there either, so that is also a permissions things I'd bet.

I used to have edit privilage but now it's gone.
Either Dave or I need it to edit the meetings.
