Those of you who are aware of Kickstarter know it can be a mix of many spectacular successes, a few spectacular failures and a lot of projects that fall somewhere in between. This project just went live:
If it goes to plan it will be an interesting experiment. There seems to be a bit of gimmickry attached (space selfies) in an effort to generate funding but the design looks modest enough that it may just work out. It's 1/5th of the way to being funded as of my posting this.
