More on that here:

As many of us followed Chris and his blogging while on board the ISS (in addition to his monster phone bill while on it!), now may be an opportunity to meet him!

Maybe Mr. Flannery should invite him to give the Cummins Memorial lecture

My info is that he will be at the convention center for a corporate event and will then be signing books. Most likely Easons Dublin 1.

I would not be surprised if Trinity try and get him in.

and I also understand a "famous" Irish Astronomer is looking to do something with him and is making noises in his direction.

I feel IFAS should make a presentation to him while he is here.

Hadfield will be signing his book in Easons on December 14 in Dublin from 12-1:30 p.m.
On his website it says "Presentation and book signing event."

However, at 10 a.m. that morning there is another book tour event in Trinity until 11:30.

More on his website: chrishadfield.ca/booktour/

So what's the difference between these two events? Anyone know if its just two separate book signing events just in different venues? Will he be giving a presentation or something similar?

Anyone else going to meet him? And if so, which one?

Will the event in Trinity be a book signing also?

I'm just curious because I must book a train ticket!
