Good on you Owen, if you are a determined chap, then persistence is the key.
Again, we can give, or re-iterate, tips for you - such as a newspaper article, flyers or posters (flyers in your local library would be a good idea, you can print 3 to an A4 sheet handy enough), parish/church bulleting inclusion, get in touch with schools.
A combination of these is how most clubs have started up. Don't be shy!
