Even for everyday use without IR filter I think it's a good one.Shame that so far even on eBay you can order only from Hon Kong.

The 60da is a 60d with one filter removed and the price is almost doubled.

The UV filer that you put on the lens to use it for everyday use has to be a very good one or the colours are all over the shop.

Im going to go down the line of the 7d for everyday use and have my old 1100d converted for the Telescope.

You could but a 450 and a 7d for the price of a 60da.

quality camera, what lens did you go for ? for wide angle astro pics, the sigma 10 -20 mm seems to be the best on the market

I had a Tokina 11-16mm and a sigma 50mm f1.4. Both good for astro work

My first astroshot with the 7D. Taken at F6.3 through an 8" Meade SCT.
Really impressed with the camera
