As per thread title.

Came home from work at 10pm.
Had my dinner.
Looked out to the west.
Clouds on horizon 30 miles away.
Still, calm night, They'll take hours to get here.
Busy setting up, didn't look up.
Finish setting up.
Look Up.
95% cloud cover.
Past expletive laden frustration at this stage.
Just a big sigh and start packing back up again.

Why do we bother??

It's a bitch isn't it? I was showing my brother in law the clear skies at his house around 11pm. Then Dee and I leave around 12:20 am to the tune of drizzle. No point in getting mad at this stage. What happens, happens.

what can you do.!
I had a similar experience, it's what drove me to having a dome in the back garden, almost zero setup time.
